Our expert marine ranger will share an insight into the whales' habits. 

You can hear the whales singing on the hydrophone. Hervey Bay is considered one of the best places in the world to view humpback whales which visit its waters between late July and early November every year. There are junior marine ranger activities for children. Kingfisher Whale watch cruises depart from the Urangan Boat Harbour in Hervey Bay and Kingfisher Bay Resort on Fraser Island.
