An Experience of a Lifetime awaits you aboard The Spirit Of Hervey Bay!

The Spirit of Hervey Bay is a 20 metre ocean going catamaran and operates Humpback Whale watching tours during the season of August, September and October of each year. Specifically built for whale watching the Spirit provides first class cruising and comfort for your whale watching day which takes you into the Hervey Bay Marine Park located between Fraser Island and the City of Hervey Bay.

Glen Dorn has operated whale cruises for ten years and this will be the sixth year that whale watching trips have been oltered on the Spirit of Hervey Bay. Throughout this time Glen has experienced first hand what is needed to ensure a comfortable, safe and yet exciting whale watching trip.

This vessel is the first of its kind in the world and offers a new and exciting way to watch the whales -through underwater viewing windows. Four each of these windows are located in both hulls of the vessel and provide unparalleled whale watching opportunities. The Spirit has fully walk around upper and lower decks as well as the ever popular large foredeck, where people may sit in complete safety and comfort in the whale watching area.

We Offer

• complimentary morning and afternoon tea - drinks, snacks & souvenirs available
• a choice of two departure times from the Great Sandy Straits Marina at Hervey Bay's Urangan Boat Harbour, 8.30am and 1.30pm, returning 12.30pm and 5.30pm
• a courtesy bus pick-up and return service is also available if required in the Hervey Bay area.
